About Our Client

Our client is seeking is a Yard Hand for their site based in Wingfield.

You will be working for a world leading publicly listed metal recycler whose operations encompass the buying, processing and selling of ferrous and non-ferrous recycled metals. They provide customised recycling services to meet the individual needs of commercial and industrial scrap metal producers and are geographically diverse, with operations in five continents, including the United States, Australasia and the United Kingdom.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure customers receive a high level of service

• Grading and sorting materials

• Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures

The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm. This role is ongoing with the potential of permanency.

What You Will Need

• A Forklift (LF) licence is desirable

• Ability to complete a physical medical assessment as per the jobs requirements

• Ability to pass a D&A test

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to perform well under production pressures

• Ability to work in a safe team environment

• Knowledge and understanding of scrap metal processing techniques and equipment would be an advantage, however not essential
