About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking a Scheduler to join our client Rio Tinto's Site Communications and Mining Systems team based in Tom Price, on a 5:2, 4:3 roster. FIFO from Perth or residential options available.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Work with internal planning teams to identify and scope Utilities Maintenance West Pilbara maintenance requirements for the Site Communications and Mining Systems teams.

• Coordinate and issue RFQ???s to external vendors, ensuring alignment to the relevant procurement processes.

• Assist in the detailed planning and scheduling of jobs in SAP.

• Initiate and manage contractor onboarding for external vendors.

• Generate utilisation reports, such as schedule compliance, scheduled and non-scheduled tasks, subsequent notification count, forward log hour trends, vendor spend etc.

• Carry out weekly meetings with supervisors (schedule commit and review/analyse) following the planning schedule meeting agenda template, tracking, and implementing actions.

• Work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation to identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Monitoring scheduled forecast of critical shuts and then working with site teams to achieve effective utilisation of our assets and technicians.

• Monitor, publish and track the performance of our contracted partners.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum one year of scheduling or planning experience

• Work well in a team environment and influence people

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Customer focused with a collaborative approach

• Understanding of industrial health & safety requirements

• Previous experience utilizing a computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP experience will be highly regarded)

• C Class Drivers Licence
